9th INTER CLUB KUMITE CHALLENGE 2016
DATE: 29th October 2016 (Closing date for entries 24th October 2016)
VENUE: Benjamin Pine School, Pinetown
START TIME: 8:00am
COST: R50
BELT GRADES: White – Black Belts
AGE GROUPS: 4 years – Adult
GUM GUARDS: are compulsory (grade 1 – Adult). Pre schoolers do not need a gum guard. You can get from a sports shop/pharmacy.
MITS: (gloves) will be provided for those who do not have. If you would like to purchase they are R150. Mitts will be on sale on the day.
BELTS: Red and Blue belts are used for competitions. These will be provided, if you do not have.
DIVISIONS:
White Belts. Divisions will be based on age and gender. 3 Karate-ka per division. Each karate-ka will have 2 bouts. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded.
Yellow – Black Belt. Divisions will be based on belt, age and gender. Divisions will have 5-6 karate-ka in, of which you will have a bout with each competitor. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded.
